Misano: Who will win the Race of Champions at World Ducati Week 2022? (Video)

As almost every two years since 1998, World Ducati Week brings together the Ducatisti on the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for three days of festivities with the Race of Champions as the high point.

This year, it takes place from July 22 to 24, so this weekend, and the highlight of the show will take place this afternoon with the confrontation of all the Ducati riders entered in MotoGP, Superbike, Supersport and MotoAmerica on the handlebars of Panigale V4 S and V2 characterized by the same graphics used in racing by each pilot in their respective categories.

Indeed, after a first day devoted to driving Ducatisti on the Adriatic Riviera track, testing the Panigale V4 S, baptisms in Biposto driven by Franco Battaini, laps in Lamborghini and Audi, stunts of ‘Emilio Zamora, Victor Chelenkov and Michael Threin, and to an incredible parade of the Red Army through the streets of Cattolica (see video below) the serious things begin this Saturday for the pilots of Borgo Panigale, with the tests of the Race of Champions.

Who are the favorites among a long list composed among others of Johann Zarco, Francesco Bagnaia, Jack Miller, Alvaro Bautista, Jorge Martin, Danilo Petrucci, Marco Bezzecchi, Enea Bastianini, Michael Rinaldi, Luca Marini and Fabio Di Giannantonio ?

Some are ready to bet on the success of Michele Pirro since, being the official Ducati representative in an Italian championship that he leads, he is the one who knows both the bike and the track best. But we know the drivers, and if everyone is well aware that an accident under the eyes of Claudio Domenicali and Luigi Dall’Igna would be very unwelcome in the middle of the season, being beaten by a brother-enemy, even without issue, is not really in the DNA of the profession…

After the first declarations, Michael Ruben Rinaldi et Francesco Bagnaia recognize this and present themselves as serious candidates for victory, unlike Danilo Petrucci et Luca Marini handicapped by their large size on the Desmosedici. But what will our johann zarco national, current best representative Ducati in MotoGP, in the middle of all these Italians?

Answer this evening around 6 p.m.
