Liverpool 5-0 win at home RB Leipzig in pre-season games. Darwin Nunez became the star of the Reds victory through four goals.
RB Leipzig vs Liverpool presented at the Red Bull Arena, Friday (22/7/2022) early in the morning WIB. The visitors fielded almost all of their starting players from the first minute.
The visitors took a 1-0 lead in the first half through Mohamed Salah’s goal. Darwin Nunez scored a quat-trick after the break and sealed Liverpool’s 5-0 win over Leipzig.

The course of the match
Mohamed Salah scored from a shot in the penalty area after just seven minutes. The Liverpool bomber took advantage of Roberto Firmino’s short pass, as well as bringing his team to a 1-0 lead.
Salah almost scored a brace three minutes later. The King of Egypt’s kick from close range could still be thwarted by the Leipzig goalkeeper.
The home team threatened again in the 40th minute. Angelino’s long-range shot flew thinly over the Liverpool crossbar.

Darwin Nunez, who was only introduced in the second half, was appointed as Liverpool’s executioner. The Uruguay striker succeeded in carrying out his duties perfectly, as well as bringing the Reds 2-0 up.

HAT-TRICK! Nunez scored his third goal against Leipzig in the 68th minute. He scored a tap-in after snatching a Harvey Elliott pull pass.
Nunez almost scored his fourth goal in the 81st minute. The header ball on target can still be pushed over by the Leipzig goalkeeper.
QUAT-TRICK! Nunez scored his fourth goal towards the end of the game with a low shot in the penalty area, capitalizing on Fabio Carvalho’s pass. Liverpool closed the game with a landslide victory 5-0.
