Starting this morning in Manchester City’s first pre-season game (against América de México, a 2-1 victory), Bernardo Silva spoke at the end about his future. There has been constant talk about Barcelona’s interest and also about his interest in playing in Catalonia. His name was also recently given as a bargaining chip to buy Neymar from PSG, as
denied by Pep Guardiola.
The Portuguese international addressed the future to Sky Sports.
“Well… I don’t know… what’s really important is that I’m preparing my season as well as possible. As long as I play for Manchester City I will always do my best. My relationship with the club, with the fans and with my teammates is fantastic and I will always respect that”, he assured.
