The Architecture Prize of the Canton of Zurich is awarded every three years by the foundation for the award of good buildings in the Canton of Zurich. For the first time, the foundation is awarding an audience prize this year. Those interested in architecture can cast their votes until August 31st. All 124 projects submitted for the award are published on the website of the architecture prize. This year, for the first time, the foundation is also honoring architects and builders who are tackling ecological change with the special prize “Der Grüne Leu”. “In contrast to the well-known energy and sustainability labels, we don’t want to act with technical values and calculations here, but rather track down intelligent and surprising buildings that master the current, urgent challenges,” says the tender.
