Corsair integrates Nvidia Broadcast with innovations in iCUE and Elgato

Corsair revealed that it has integrated Nvidia Broadcast technologies into its iCUE hardware and software. Similar AI enhancements have also been added to Elgato’s audio and video software such as Wave Link and Camera Hub.

As a result, content creators and gamers who own GeForce RTX GPUs can benefit from Nvidia Broadcast’s AI enhancements for Corsair and Elgato microphones and cameras, elevating the quality of their live streams, voice chats and video conferences.

Advanced AI audio
Nvidia Broadcast integration enables AI-powered denoising and room echo removal audio features in Corsair iCUE and Elgato Wave Link that unlock new levels of clarity and sharpness for an exceptional audio experience.

Denoising in Elgato Wave Link is done as a virtual studio technology (VST), allowing users to apply the effect to the audio channel, and is supported in compatible applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, and Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve. .

Running in Tensor Cores on GeForce RTX GPUs, the new features use AI to identify users’ voices, separating them from other ambient sounds. This results in noise cancellation that dramatically improves the quality of audio and video calls. Background fan noises, conversations, pets and more disappear, leaving the speaker’s voice crystal clear.

The broadcast also cancels room echoes, providing studio-quality acoustics in a wide variety of environments without the need for soundproof walls or ceilings.

Corsair’s integration brings a new version of these effects that can separate sounds from the body. This update adds support for popular features such as muting the friend who forgot to activate the push-to-talk feature on a video call while munching on lunch.

These streaming features are available on nearly the entire Corsair headset lineup. Users looking for a premium audio experience should consider headphones like the Void RGB Elite Wireless with 7.1 surround sound, the HS80 RGB Wireless with spatial audio, or the Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE.

For the creators of Elgato, noise removal can now be enabled in the Wave Link app. This enables AI-enhanced audio for Wave mic users as well as XLR mics thanks to Elgato Wave XLR.

AI video effects
Nvidia Broadcast’s video technologies integrated into the Elgato Camera Hub include the virtual background feature.

AI-enhanced filters powered by GeForce RTX GPUs provide better edge detection to produce high-quality visuals – much like those produced by a DSLR camera – using just a webcam. Supported effects include blurring and replacing the background with a video or still image; eliminating the need for a green screen.

Background blur and background replacement are now available in Elgato Camera Hub. Creators can apply AI video effects with Facecam or their studio camera using Cam Link 4K.

Setup for streaming success
Accessing these Nvidia Broadcast technologies is quick and simple.

If a compatible Corsair headset or ST100 headset support is recognized by iCUE, it will automatically prompt you to install Nvidia Broadcast Audio Effects.

The Elgato Camera Hub now features a new Effects tab. Once selected, users will be prompted to download and install Broadcast Video Effects. For Elgato Wave Link, creators need to install Broadcast Audio Effects first, followed by the new VST noise removal app.

After installation, streaming options will appear in iCUE, Wave Link and Camera Hub.
