A man named Firas Firdaus (28) became one of the survivors of Pertamina tanker truck fatal accident at Alternative Street Cibubur, Bekasi City, West Java. He was dragged for about 100 meters until his legs were caught by the motorbike and his legs were scratched.
Firas said that at the time of the incident, he was riding a motorbike to go home from work to the Cileungsi area, Bogor. When he arrived at the scene, he slowed down due to red lights and other vehicles stopped.

Firas admitted that the Pertamina truck was dragged for almost 100 meters. As a result of the incident, Firas suffered abrasions on his right leg.

He saw that the glass of the Pertamina tanker truck had shattered shortly after it stopped being dragged. Then, he saw that his legs were caught by the motorbike so that he could not stand because the motorbike he was driving was stuck in the bumper of the tanker truck. He shouted for help.

Firas was successfully evacuated by residents by pulling his body. According to him, he was first approached by a man who claimed to work as a clown in an Iron Man costume at a red light on Jalan Transyogi Cibubur for help.
“So it’s actually a bit long, one minute no one dares help. Suddenly the one who likes Iron Man clowns, but he doesn’t anymore use it the costume. He shouted ‘help these gentlemen, how come their feet don’t bleed’ maybe the others are afraid of me already bleeding, I haven’t had any bleeding blisters yet. I screamed because I can still do this… if it takes too long, I might break a bone,” he said.
