The supervisor who was seriously injured last weekend after falling from a raft at the Smèrrig festival in Den Bosch was probably pushed. The police made the announcement on Tuesday morning.
The 50-year-old woman oversaw the use of the raft. She suffered several fractures in the fall, where she ended up in the water. It is unknown whether she also lost consciousness.
The woman has since undergone surgery at the hospital.
‘Contact us!’
“There must be people who know more!”, emphasized the police. “A lot of people were there. We want to know exactly what happened and what caused it. We want to find who pushed the woman. Please contact us with any bit of information or suspicion.”
Festival Smèrrig was held on and around the Engelermeer on Saturday and Sunday.
