Jakarta – The family of Joshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J reveal facts about Karo Paminal Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan as a figure who forbade the family to open the coffin.
The attorney for the family of Brigadier J, Johnson Panjaitan said the family asked Brigadier General Hendra to be removed from his position as the Head of the Propam Division, Irjem Pol. Ferdy Sambo.
“Karo Paminal had to be replaced because he was part of the problem and part of the whole problem that arose because he was the one who sent the bodies and put pressure on the family to open the coffin,” Johnson told reporters Tuesday (19/7/2022).
He also said that Brigadier General Hendra’s actions violated the principles of justice for Brigadier J’s family and violated customary law.
“So in addition to violating the principle of justice, it also violates the principles of customary law which are strongly believed by the victim’s family. In my opinion, it must be done,” he continued.
