Amount SOEs that are disbanded will increase. This is in line with the bankruptcy decision of PT Istaka Karya (Persero).
Istaka itself is included in the list of seven SOEs that will be dissolved. Of the seven SOEs, three of them have been disbanded.
The three SOEs that were disbanded were PT Kertas Kraft Aceh (Persero), PT Industri Glass (Persero) and PT Industri Sandang Nusantara (Persero).

SOE Minister Erick Thohir said the dissolution was carried out because the SOE was no longer operating.
“With a long way to go. Thank God, we will wait for the government regulations in June,” Erick said at a press conference on March 17, 2022.
He explained that the Kraft Aceh BUMN had not operated since 2008. Then the Glass Industry has not operated since 2015 and the Nusantara Clothing Industry in 2018.
“Of course we can’t continue to hang on. We can’t be a tyrannical leader who doesn’t ensure that we are in favor of an amicable solution,” he said.
