Ferdy Sambo’s Fate after Police Shooting Police Case: Temporarily Deactivated, Reported to Propam

TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Fredy Sambo’s name is in the public spotlight after the shooting at his residence that killed his aide Brigadier Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat.

Currently, the fate of Fredy Sambo has also changed.

Recently, Fredy Sambo’s position as the Head of the Propam Police Division has been temporarily deactivated by the National Police Chief, General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

“Tonight, we have decided for Inspector General Pol Ferdy Sambo to temporarily deactivate his position,” Listyo said, quoted from TribunnewsMonday (18/7/2022).

Listyo said the position previously held by Fredy Sambo was temporarily held by the Deputy Chief of Police, Komjen Pol Gatot Eddy Pramono.

The deactivation was carried out in connection with the investigation of the case that killed Mr Brigadier Joshua this.

“Of course, this is to maintain that what we have done so far, related to commitment, objectivity, transparency, accountability, we really take care of.”

“So that the investigation process that is currently being carried out can run well and make light of the events that occurred,” he said.

Furthermore, Listyo revealed the latest update on several stages of the ongoing investigation, such as examining witnesses to collecting evidence.
