From today, you can download the mod that many fans of FPP shooters have been waiting for. The authors of BF3: Reality Mod, a realistic modification of Battlefield 3, have published the fruit of their work.
One of the most interesting and anticipated mods of 2022 has already been published. Battlefield 3: Reality Mod requires a PC copy of Battlefield 3 (Steam or Origin version) with all released DLC to work. The authors of the mod explain in the latest video how to go through the file installation process of this very extensive remake of the well-known shooter. To proceed with the installation go to the VU (Venice Unleashed) client page, which you need to download. Then, after launching the program, just configure your account and join the RealityMod servers (details of the procedure are waiting for you in 1 minute of the recording below).
Battlefield 3: Reality Mod is not just that much more realistic gunplay, than in the basic edition of this FPP shooter. The authors took care of aspects such as teamwork, improved communication options in the team and operations with the use of larger groups. The whole thing is focused on tactical actions and cooperation of individual members of the branches. The creators boast of, among others improvements to projectile ballistics, object rendering, shockwaves from explosions, etc.
