Within hours of sending pre-publication copies of the magazine to Buckingham Palace, Meghan would have phoned her press office and reported “hysterically about the fury of the Palace.” Markle was black because the article overshadowed her charitable activities and this was because the magazine was unable to verify two stories she told about her childhood. Bower further states that Harry (and the Palace) he had forbidden Meg to talk about sensitive topics such as racism, Donald Trump and his relationship with the Prince.
