“Furious and hysterical” against the Palace: Meghan Markle is in the storm. Some details have emerged, hitherto top secret of her life at Court, which cast new shadows on the Duchess of Sussex and her husband Harry. In a burning new biography it is even said that the former actress threw a cup of hot tea at a soldier. And only because she was really very upset.
Tap a Meghan Markle tremble this time. After the interview with Oprah Winfrey where the Sussexes denounced the behavior of the Royal Family, accusing them of racism and indifference towards them, now in the biography, Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsorsof the journalist Tom Bowerthey tell the background of the life at court of the former actress that are certainly not flattering.
Meghan Markle and the cup of tea against the military
Among the various moments recounted in the book, a gesture made by Lady Markle is also described which appears truly disconcerting. The incident allegedly took place during the Sussex trip to Australia in 2018, a few months after their wedding. It seems that on that tour, Meghan furiosathrew a cup of boiling tea on a military. The reason for this “scary” reaction? I suspect William was jealous of the Sussex success in Australia. This suspicion would have sent Meg into a rage and vented her anger in this way. Meghan also allegedly insulted the Governor and his wife “cursing like a drunken sailor.”
Not only that, according to the rumors reported in the book, Harry’s wife would have threatened to stop the tour if her friend Jessica Mulroney did not reach her. “William was shocked and dismayed by his sister-in-law’s behavior, what he must have been jealous of,” said a source close to the Palazzo. Harry is sixth in the succession to the throne and Meghan’s activism, her “success”, would never have contributed to further enhance the Monarchy, a millennial institution.
Meghan Markle and the fury against the Palace
But the “scandalous” episodes that see Lady Markle protagonist in this biography are numerous. Tom Bower relates that Meghan was thrilled with her when she was offered to pose for the cover of Vanity Fair in 2017, accompanying an interview.
But when the magazine came out with the title Wild About Harry on the cover – focusing the interview on Meghan’s relationship with the Prince rather than her work as an actress, activist and philanthropist – Bower writes that the Palace was amazed.
Within hours of sending pre-publication copies of the magazine to Buckingham Palace, Meghan would have phoned her press office and reported “hysterically about the fury of the Palace.” Markle was black because the article overshadowed her charitable activities and this was because the magazine was unable to verify two stories she told about her childhood. Bower further states that Harry (and the Palace) he had forbidden Meg to talk about sensitive topics such as racism, Donald Trump and his relationship with the Prince.
As reported by Vanity Fair in 2017, Meghan said: “I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to step forwardintroduce ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time. This is for us. It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s ours alone. But we are happy. Personally, I love a great love story ”. Lady Marke broke her pact with the Palace before her marriage. And the rest is history.
