It was VG who first report shooting at the nightclub, after being in contact with the local police.
According to the Spanish newspaper The confidential a knife was also used in the attack.
It is said to have started after an argument between two groups of men at the nightclub “Opium Beach Club Marbella”.
First there were broken bottles. Someone took out a knife, and then it was fired.
Several people received knife and gunshot wounds, and were transported to a hospital in the Costa del Sol.
Witness: – Did not understand what happened
Celine (27) from Oslo is on a girl’s trip in Marbella with her group of friends. They were present at the beach club when the chaos broke out. She does not want NRK to use her last name.
According to her, there was a fight on stage behind the DJ.
– We heard shots, but we did not quite understand what happened. When we started running, we heard two more shots, she says to NRK.
– There was congestion, and it was very chaotic. Everything went pretty fast, she adds.
All four friends are unharmed, but they are shocked by what happened.
– We got little sleep last night. I’m had a nightmare. One is a bit seen out of the whole thing, and we do not quite understand what we have been involved in, says the 27-year-old to NRK.
The group of friends was scheduled to go home tomorrow, but was hit by the SAS strike.
Perpetrator in hospital with stab wounds

There must have been panic when everyone tried to get out of the room. Both local and national police patrols, and several ambulances rumored out to the beach club, according to El Confidencial.

According to Spanish newspapers was the nephew of the Spanish king at the nightclub to celebrate his birthday with friends.
