I don’t have any injuries other than a few bruises.” Rik Moons, the pilot who crashed his sports plane in Bruges’ Sint-Andries on Friday, says that his miracle rescue was mainly the performance of a rehearsed procedure. “I was calm myself. I train in this myself. At such a moment you simply carry out the procedures.”
