Cell phones must be locked

Bob Dylan’s concerts are mobile-free. This means that smartphones must be packed in special sealed bags at the entrance. You can carry this bag with you all evening. “You can unlock your mobile phone from your pocket at any time by going to the clearly marked telephone usage areas in the entrance area of the hall,” said the organizer, who justified the measure as follows: “You open your eyes a little more and your senses are sharper when the usual technology crutch is lost.” Accordingly, exceptions are only made for people who depend on their cell phones for their medical treatment.

In June 2020, Bob Dylan released his album “The Rough And Rowdy Ways”, after which the tour is now named. “The constantly touring legend is powerful, haunting and has its finger on the pulse of the times,” we wrote in our short review, among other things.
