The latest report from the Bolivian Ministry of Health registered 2,954 new cases of covid-19 with no deaths at a time when the country is facing the fifth wave of infections since the beginning of June.
Cochabamba (842), Santa Cruz (654), La Paz (605) and Chuquisaca (331) are the regions that presented the most cases, followed by the departments of Tarija (149), Potosí (129) and Oruro (106), while in Beni and Pando the infections were below one hundred.
