The mode used is usually the perpetrator wiretapping by sending a virus malware to the victim so that they can monitor the conversation.

However, don’t worry, there are several precautions that can be taken to overcome tapping on WhatsApp accounts.

Users can activate this feature by going to settings > account settings. Then select the two-factor authentication option. Next WhatsApp will ask to activate with a PIN, by entering a six-digit number and an email that is integrated with the account.

1. User account suddenly logged out of the app

For information, WhatsApp can only be used on one smartphone with the same number. So if suddenly the account logs out automatically, it means that there may be another party using an account on another smartphone.

2. Message has been read

Users can also know they are being tapped if there are messages that have not been read but have been read.

3. A message was sent to a specific contact without the user’s knowledge

Another feature is sending messages to certain contacts without the account owner knowing.

4. Whatsapp web suddenly activated

To find out if someone else is using your WhatsApp account, click on the three-dot icon on the right and select WhatsApp Web mode. Later it will be seen whether the account is connected.

5. There is an OTP shipment

One Time Password (OTP) is sent via SMS to the mobile number connected to the WhatsApp account. If there is a message containing the code, it means that someone is trying to log into your WhatsApp account. Remember not to give it to anyone.
