Drivers are eagerly awaiting this date. As of Friday, April 1, 2022, the discount of 18 cents per liter of gasoline enters into force by government decision, in the midst of an explosion in fuel prices.
28 cents discount on petrol
In Seine-Saint-Denis, 38 TotalEnergie petrol stations will offer an additional discount of 10 cents to reach the 28 cents discount from Friday April 1, 2022. In total, this measure will be applied in 2,800 petrol stations in France (excluding Total Access), until May 15, 2022.
Note that some stations will not apply the government discount. It will not apply to oil already stored, purchased at a “high price” before the implementation of the measure.
