Two glittery costumes worn by Monroe and her co-star Jane Russell from the movie “Let’s Blondes” fetched a combined $102,000. Monroe’s ear clips from promotional photos for the film “How to Make a Millionaire?” brought in $81,000. The star’s handwritten notes from Lee Strasberg’s acting class went under the hammer for just under $19,000.
As part of the four-day “Hollywood Legends” auction, over 1,400 memorabilia of stars and film classics are to be auctioned until Monday.
