SSA continues to send Social Security payments for the month of July to retired workers and recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

This year, the average monthly payments amounted to $1,657 for retired workers and $2,753 for married couples. Meanwhile, SSI recipients receive, on average, $624.

July payment dates

Following the payment remittance scheme, on July 1 payment was sent to recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and recipients who began receiving their payments prior to May 1997. On July 13, SSA sent the payment of the beneficiaries with date of birth between 1 and 10.

The rest of the july payments is programmed as follows:

-July 20: Beneficiaries with a date of birth between 11 and 20
-July 27: Beneficiaries with a date of birth between 21 and 31
