Traffic on the Pleven-Lovech road in the region of the village of Brestovets was temporarily restricted in both directions
Five people died in a head-on collision between two cars on the Pleven-Lovech road, near the village of Brestovets. Among the victims are two children aged 1 year. The incident took place today at 2:25 p.m., the Ministry of the Interior reports.
One car was driven by a 60-year-old man, the second car was driven by a 31-year-old man.
According to initial data, the older driver and a one-year-old boy, a passenger in the car, died. A 51-year-old female passenger was injured and was admitted to Pleven Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the other car involved in the accident died, as well as his passengers – a 54-year-old woman and a one-year-old boy. A 21-year-old woman traveling in the second car was admitted to the Pleven hospital in serious health condition.
Investigations are continuing at the scene of the accident. The traffic organization has been changed. OP – Pleven has been referred.
