President of the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) Khiev Sameth praises Indonesia as high as the sky after successfully hosting AFF U-19 Cup 2022.
This was conveyed by PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan after accompanying the AFF President to close the 2022 AFF U-19 Cup.
“Alhamdulillah, the President of AFF, President of Laos, and Vice President of Malaysia have given appreciation that Indonesia is a good host,” said Iriawan after the 2022 AFF U-19 Cup final match, Friday (15/7).

“[Mulai dari] We take care of vehicles, security, hotels, food, Malaysian fans. We are committed to making the event a success,” said Iriawan.
The 2022 AFF U-19 Cup has been completed in Indonesia. The ASEAN football tournament will be held from July 2 and ends on Friday (15/7).
This tournament was participated by a total of 11 AFF member countries with matches held in two venues, namely Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi and Madya Stadium, Senayan.
The Malaysia U-19 national team successfully emerged as champions this year after defeating Laos 2-0 in the final match of the 2022 AFF U-19 Cup which took place at the Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Friday (15/7).
Meanwhile, Indonesia as the host had to stop in the group phase after finishing third in Group A.
“We have given our best [penyelenggaraan dan permainan] whatever the results of our team,” said Iriawan.
