Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health Announces First Case of Monkeypox

SERAMBINEWS.COM, RIYADH – Ministry of Health Arab Saudi declared to have detected monkey pox case first in the Government.

The patient is someone who come from abroad ke Riyadh.

The ministry added that the infected person had been under medical care according to approved health procedures.

Reported by Arab News, Friday (15/7/2022), samples were taken from all people who had contact with an infected person for laboratory tests and none showed symptoms.

The ministry said it would continue to monitor and follow up on the development of monkeypox and transparently announce any new cases.

The ministry assured its readiness and ability to deal with any development of the disease in the country.
