Governor Greg Abbott arrived at the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) facility to deliver a message about the fentanyl crisis. “Parents, your children go to parties, there are pills there and they are distributed. Educate them about the dangers of this,” Abbott said. For her part, state senator Joan Huffman indicated that they will seek more severe punishments, such as an increase in penalties, for those who distribute and sell this drug.
