jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The shooting case at the house of the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, caught the attention of Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD. He even noticed something odd.
Mahfud MD openly stated that irregularities arose in the handling and explanation of the Police themselves, where the relationship between the cause and effect of each chain of events was not clear.
“This case cannot be allowed to just flow because there are many irregularities,” Mahfud wrote through the @mohmahfudmd account on Instagram, Wednesday (13/7).
In that incident, Police member Brigadier Police Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J died with several gunshot wounds. The family even found there were cuts.
Brigadier J died after a shootout with another member of the National Police with the initials Bharada E.
Brigadier J is the aide for Drive Caraka (ADV) wife of the Head of the National Police Propam Division, Princess Candrawathi Sambo, while Bharada E was an aide to Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
According to the police version, the smell of gunfire was triggered by sexual harassment and pointing a gun by Brigadier J against the wife of the two-star general.
Mahfud MD also stated that the credibility of the Police and the government is at stake in disclosing the case.
