Farmers have already pulled through Nijmegen and the surrounding area tonight, honking their horns on tractors. They drove past the houses of mayor Hubert Bruls and climate minister Rob Jetten. The police were there to keep an eye on the farmers.

Several agents were present in front of Bruls’ house, including on the motorcycle. Jetten’s house is permanently secured because of the farmers’ actions.

Before the farmers drove past the houses, they passed through Nijmegen-East. According to the police, no one has been arrested and the farmers drove through the streets honking their horns and then left again.
