Trieste bids farewell to Ennio Fedele, “the king of lamps” who revolutionized the way of furnishing

TRIESTE Trieste has lost one of its historical entrepreneurs: Ennio Fedele, known in the city above all for having been the owner, for decades, of the lights and lamps shop in via Mazzini that bore his surname.

Strong personality, a great lover of his work, Fedele, who would have turned 89 in September, was the authentic incarnation of the Trieste trader: precise in his explanations, ironic, imaginative, a true exponent of that old guard of shopkeepers who made the fortune of productive fabric of the city.
