Bradley Cooper and Huma Abedin are in a relationship, a source told People magazine. The “A Star Is Born” actor, 47, and Abedin, 45, have been dating for “a few months” and were introduced by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, according to Page Six, which first broke the news of the new couple.
Both Cooper and Abedin attended the 2022 Met Gala in New York separately, but reps for Cooper and Abedin have yet to comment on their relationship.
Cooper has a 5-year-old daughter, Lea de Saint, with ex-wife Irina Shayk. He and the 36-year-old model split in 2019 after four years together. And Abedin, a longtime adviser to Hillary Clinton, has a 10-year-old son, Jordan, with her ex-husband, disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner.
Last year, Abedin opened up in her book “Living in Many Worlds” about Weiner’s sex scandals and how the controversy affected Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. In an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning” in October, she said she had “learned the whole truth” about Weiner’s infidelities and transgressions.
When asked if she is angry with him, Abedin replies: “I can’t live like this anymore. I tried to. It almost killed me.”
In November, she told People magazine that she had undergone therapy and was working on getting along with Weiner for the sake of their child.
“Anthony will always be in my life because he is the father of my child. I want to make sure that he is healthy, that our son sees a pattern of behavior that is healthy for him.”, Abedin added
Cooper, who is currently filming his next film, has previously been open about raising his child with Shayk, who supported him on the red carpet at the premiere of his film Nightmare Alley in December.
In September, Shayk told HIGHStyle magazine that Cooper was a “full-fledged father,” and in 2020, she explained to British Vogue that regarding her previous relationship with Cooper, “I think we were very lucky to experience what we had with each other”.
