Francisco Trincao arrives at Alvalade on loan for a season from Barcelona and with the Lions fully supporting the salary that the winger earned in Catalonia, which totals 1.2 million euros net per season.
A little above the salary cap for lions but which, after all, ends up being below.
BOLA explains: the net salary of 1.2 million euros presupposed an annual expenditure, by Sporting, of 2.4 million euros gross – taxation on this type of salary is around 50 percent.
It turns out that, returning to Portugal after having been working abroad, Francisco Trincão will automatically be under the Regressar Program, launched by the Portuguese Government in 2019.
