The Boss of the Good Morning Indonesian School (SPI) in Batu City, Julianto Eka Putro, a defendant in a sexual violence case, filed for a suspension of detention. This was conveyed by his attorney, Jeffry Simatupang.
“We sent a request for a suspension of detention. We submitted it to the Registrar of the Malang District Court,” Jeffry explained to the media crew, Wednesday (13/7/2022).
The suspension of detention was submitted on Tuesday (12/7). Jeffry said there were 3 subjective reasons why his client asked not to be detained.

First, the accused of sexual violence did not try to escape. Jeffry called his client cooperative.
“Since the investigation process to stage two, until the stage of the trial process, our clients are always present in the examination,” said Jeffry.
Second, it is claimed that JE did not attempt to eliminate evidence. Because the evidence is already in the hands of investigators.
