Five Corona cases in the German flag football national team – from the dream of the WorldGames2022 – AFVD

The dream at the WorldGames2022 playing at least three more games at the highest level is for that German national flag football team abruptly ended. Five corona cases have occurred within the team and the supervisory staff, making it impossible to continue the tournament.

So not only the quarterfinals against the USA, but also all other games. Unfortunately, what began with the long journey of almost two days now ends much more tragically for the team.

We wish all those affected by the corona virus a speedy recovery, speedy recovery and a lot of strength.
