The police found their remains yesterday morning in a house on Congostraat in the Belgian municipality of Kinrooi, just across the Limburg border south of Weert.
Ex boyfriend
Police say both persons were killed. Local media report that the victims are a woman and her cousin, but a spokeswoman for the Belgian Public Prosecutor’s Office could not confirm this. The spokesperson declined to comment further.
The newspapaer reports that the man who was arrested in Eindhoven is her ex-boyfriend. The murdered woman is said to have a daughter from a previous relationship, who was not present when her mother died.
