Without Ronaldo, MU brushes Liverpool 4-0 in pre-season match

Manchester United instructions Erik ten Hag can bend Liverpool in pre-season Bangkok Century Cup 2022. Even without Cristiano Ronaldothe Red Devils won 4-0.

In the second half, MU could add one more goal to Liverpool’s goal, which actually only played its main stars. One goal was scored by Facundo Pellistri in the 77th minute. The 4-0 score lasted until the game broke up.

The course of the match

MU demonstrated an attractive game with Erik ten Hag. Even without Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United can appear to press Liverpool. The Red Devils rely heavily on counter-attacks, play patiently, and hope runners like Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford can bring the ball forward quickly.

Instead of equalizing the score, Liverpool conceded again. Fred scored a beautiful chip goal in the 30th minute to get Alisson to pick the ball out of the net again. MU lead 2-0.

Winning two goals to make MU excited. The result, the third goal was born in the 33rd minute, through the action of Anthony Martial. This time, he was able to bring the ball forward, and cheat the ball past Alisson. The 3-0 score lasted until the break.

In the second half, Manchester United attracting all the main stars. Erik ten Hag instead included many young players, such as Zidane Iqbal, Anthony Elanga, and Amad Diallo, Facundo Pellistri, and his new defender, Tyrell Malacia.

In that condition, Liverpool is still difficult to make pressure. Meanwhile, United’s youth squad appeared confident, bravely playing short passes and launching counter-attacks.

Darwin Nunez had a chance in the 70th minute. Receiving Andy Robertson’s cross, Nunez controlled the ball with his chest, before unleashing a right-footed shot. The ball can still be pushed over by Tom Heaton, who replaced David De Gea.

Not long after, even Liverpool’s goal was broken. The counter-attack that Pellistri built, could be completed into a goal. Working with Amad Diallo, Pellistri can easily beat Adrian. MU lead 4-0.
