5th network meeting of the BayWISS Health Association

The BayWISS Health Network Networks researchers in Bavaria across all types of universities and offers a strong platform for the development of synergies. At the network meeting, these synergies will be presented, discussed and re-forged. The doctoral students in the Verbundkolleg have the opportunity to present their own research projects and to exchange ideas with the participants.

Focus on people: The research field of the college covers a wide range of topics within health research and ranges from health prevention to health management and economics to care, rehabilitation and scientific focal points in the fields of medical technology, medical informatics and biomedicine. All professors, doctoral candidates and students at the Bavarian universities of applied sciences and universities who are interested in cooperation and/or doctoral studies in the field of health are cordially invited to take part in the network meeting. The focus of the network meeting, which will take place on July 15th in the Ellen Ammann seminar house on the KSH campus in Munich, is a panel discussion in which researchers and experts will discuss the current topic “Challenges and perspectives of health research at HAWs”.

Short lectures by two doctoral students of the college

  • Interpretation and importance of bodily interaction in out-of-hospital intensive care; Laura Gerken | Catholic University of Applied Sciences Munich/University of Augsburg
  • Good practice of synchronous video communication within care and therapy according to ICF criteria; Norbert Lichtenauer OTH Regensburg/University of Regensburg
