Lili Pintauli Siregar choose to resign from the position of Vice Chairman KPK before being judged on ethics by the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas). His salary and allowances as a KPK leader, which reached hundreds of millions, were no longer accepted.
As is known, Lili should have been tried on ethics on July 11, 2022. However, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Council received Lili’s resignation letter which turned out to have been submitted to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on 30 June 2022. The council also canceled the ethics trial for Lili on the grounds that she was no longer part of the CCP.
Lili is declared no longer part of the KPK since July 11, 2022. Her vacant position is currently in the hands of President Jokowi.

Apart from that, Lili as Deputy Chairperson of the KPK received a luxurious salary and facilities. How much does he earn every month?
The rules regarding the salary of KPK leaders are contained in Government Regulation (PP) Number 82 of 2015 concerning the Second Amendment to PP Number 29 of 2006 concerning Financial Rights, Protocol Position, and Security Protection of KPK Leaders. It is stated that the basic salary of the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK is Rp. 4,620,000.
Apart from that, a Deputy Chairperson of the KPK gets other benefits as follows:
– Position allowance IDR 20,475,000
– Honorary allowance IDR 2,134,000
– Housing allowance IDR 34.900.000
– Transportation allowance IDR 27,330,000
– Health and life insurance allowance Rp 16,325,000
– Old age allowance Rp 6,807,250
The total allowance reached Rp. 107 million. However, of all of them, only health and life insurance are not in the form of money because they are paid to the insurance provider. In addition, old age allowance is a pension right as a state official.
With this assumption, the allowance received in cash is Rp. 84,839,000. Coupled with the basic salary, a Deputy Chairperson of the KPK gets Rp. 87,611,000.
Lili resigns from KPK
Previously, the KPK Council stated that Lili Pintauli Siregar could not be prosecuted for ethics. Dewas reasoned that Lili had resigned.
“Determining the void of the ethics trial for alleged violation of the code of ethics on behalf of the examinee Lili Pintauli Siregar and stopping the conduct of ethics,” said Tumpak H Panggabean as chairman of the ethics trial assembly, Monday (11/7).
Tumpak said that Lili’s resignation letter had been issued by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Because of that, Dewas judged that Lili was no longer someone who could be tried by Dewas.
“Considering that because the examinee Lili Pintauli has resigned from the Deputy Chair of the Indonesian KPK, and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 71/P/2022 has been issued which has dismissed the examinee as deputy chairman and concurrently member of the Indonesian KPK, the examinee is no longer a commission person who is the subject of the investigation. the law from the regulations of the RI KPK Council,” said Tumpak.
