Thousands of leaked documents nicknamed ‘Uber Files’ reveal how Uber seducing the world’s top politicians and how far the company goes taxi online it avoids the law enforcement process.
The document details the extensive assistance Uber has received from political leaders such as Emmanuel Macron and former EU commissioner Neelie Kroes.
The files also show how the former boss of the online transportation company personally ordered the use of a ‘kill switch’ or kill switch to prevent police from accessing computers during raids.

Regarding the document and its contents, Uber said, “The behavior in the past was not in line with today’s values and this move shows the company is different from what it is today.”
As reported by the BBC and quoted detikINETTuesday (12/7/2022) Uber Files is a collection of documents consisting of more than 124,000 records, including 83,000 emails and 1,000 other documents involving conversations, from 2013 to 2017.
