A little over a year ago, Éric Moullé opened VR68. Or how to have a drink while playing in virtual reality. Unique and unprecedented, dive into total immersion for a game with friends or family.

AunisTV took over the management of Niort, more precisely in the commercial area of Chauray to make you discover a space of games for the less original. baptized VR68, this game bar is in tune with the times and lives with new technology. A first in the department. A concept to be initiated by Éric Moullé.
VR68 is a virtual reality room with a bar and restaurant side. We take visitors on VR experiences, whether in space, in the pyramids or in ancient Greece. Several types of games are available which last between 20 and 25 minutes”.
For escape game enthusiasts, rest assured, the brand also offers this kind of experience. “And players play until they win. So the game can last 45 minutes or 2 hours”, specifies Éric Moullé.
When chance does things well
A brand new relaxation area. Opened a little over a year ago, its founder had the idea completely by chance.
One day while going for a walk near Orléans, I saw a VR sign without really knowing what it was. I came back, put on a helmet and found the experience huge. Rooms like this, there were none in the department, the closest was Nantes or Bordeaux, so I decided to get started”.
Unique and unprecedented in Niort and in the department, VR68 is a great success. So you will have understood it, the acronym VR stands for Virtual Reality, in other words in French, virtual reality. But why 68? Explanation.

For all tastes and all ages
In total, 700 m² are dedicated to games for complete immersion. VR68 is made up of 3 distinct areas.
The first, we called it box. It is a relatively static gaming area where players are connected to a computer via a wired headset. There are about 10m² per person. A second baptized, WareHouse which is 230m². A room in which you will be able to browse the whole room for more sporting games, lazer games in particular. And finally, a last one called Octogone. It is a mixed zone of 90m² in which you can play static or dynamic history of walking on an unknown planet for example.
Battle, adventure, horror or even zombie, VR68 offers a multitude of games for ages 7 to 97.
In all, we have around fifty games classified into 4 categories. Adventure, escape game, horror and battles”.
Expensive equipment and games that necessarily have a cost, but what about the price to try the experience of virtual reality.
The games are between 15 and 35 euros depending on the type of game”.
