Slavia rejoices, her support is back! I am ready for the season, reported Provod after the winning general

Wels (from our correspondent) – Since the unfortunate moment last May, when he tore his cruciate ligament in Olomouc, bad luck has stuck with him. He returned to the lineup in March, but at the end of the season, his knee gave way, and Provod was out of action again. He subsequently completed a 12-day stay at a German clinic, where he underwent surgery in May 2021. Now he believes that he has already chosen all the bad things.

“At the end of the spring, there was more at once, I even had a virus in my blood, it wasn’t just about the knee. When I jumped in after ligament surgery, I played a few games in a row, all full. It was probably a lot. A recent stay at the clinic helped me a lot. After Tuesday’s warm-up with Rapid Bucharest, we played a half-time between each other, I felt good. I was able to play an hour against Puskás. I feel completely healthy, I’m ready for the season,” says Provoda.

“Luky has now started for the first time, he is a football player from God. But he still had a few moments there, which we discussed at half-time. He’s not in the top yet, but that’s normal after such a break. Sometimes we even got scared by the opponent’s moves. But we believe that he will get into it soon.”

Against the third team of the last season of the Hungarian league, he became the target of hard tackles by the opponent several times. Wasn’t he worried about his legs? “I was wondering if they had something personal against me. It’s just like that sometimes in friendships. Although I don’t understand it, because we all know what injuries mean to us footballers. The main thing is that we survived the match healthy,” said the 25-year-old midfielder, who sympathizes with stopper David Hovorka, with whom he became close during his recovery.

Hovorka tore the cruciate ligament in his knee for the fourth time in his career at the end of training. Twice on both legs. “If I’m afraid of a relapse? You can’t be afraid, but of course, it happens. I experience everything with David. We’ve trained a lot together, it’s hard for him. But he is incredibly strong. He’s been back three times, I’m sure he’ll be back a fourth time. He was among the best hitters in the league whenever he came back, he can do it again. The strength and will he has in him is incredible. Hats off to him,” noted Provod.
