One family riding a motorcycle in Wongsorejo, Banyuwangi, died after being hit travel car. The accident occurred allegedly because the driver of the travel car fell asleep.
The fatal accident occurred in the border area of Bengkak Village or the road to Kampe Beach, Wongsorejo. The fatal accident occurred after the Eid al-Adha prayer, around 08.00 WIB, Sunday (10/7).
The dead victims were Couples Ahmad Zeyedi (37) and Fitriani (24) residents of Bangsring Village, Wongsorejo District. In addition, his two children, namely Mkn (2) and G (3) also died tragically after being hit by a travel car.

The Head of Public Relations of the Banyuwangi Police, Iptu Lita Kurniawan, confirmed the fatal accident that claimed a family.
“We had time to check the driver. His confession was that he was sleepy, unconscious and then turned the steering wheel to the right. Didn’t know there was a motorcycle,” said Banyuwangi Police Public Relations Head Iptu Lita Kurniawan as reported by the Antara news agency. detikJatimMonday (11/7/2022).
“We immediately took them to the Wongsorejo Health Center. The bodies of the four have been handed over and buried by their families,” added Lita.
