The first round of Group C at the Women’s European Championship in England on Saturday resulted in two draws. First, Switzerland and Portugal drew 2-2, then the duel between the Netherlands and Sweden ended 1-1.

The Swiss quickly took a 2-0 lead in Leigh thanks to Coumba Sow (2′) and Rahel Kiwic (5′), but Portugal added one more with goals from Diana Gomes (58′) and Jessica Silva (65′). Point. In the second game of the day, Jonna Andersson made it 1-0 for Sweden in Sheffield (35′), Jill Roord scored the “Oranje” goal for the final (52′).
