The first deputy mayor of Bobigny José Moury (PCF) was threatened with death on the Farm market on Saturday May 28 as part of his participation in the legislative election campaign, indicated the PCF mayor of the city Abdel Sadi in a communicated this Tuesday, May 31.
It is unacceptable that an elected representative of the Republic can be the victim of such actions. This act is serious and I am determined not to give in to this kind of method.
“Threatened by three masked individuals, they wanted to intimidate him (Mr. Moury) by asking him to leave the premises, then threatening him with death“, he explains, also indicating that a complaint has “was filed immediately at the police station“.
“It is unacceptable that an elected representative of the Republic can be the victim of such actions. This act is serious and I am determined not to give in to this kind of method.” hammered the mayor of Bobigny.
José Moury is a candidate in the legislative elections as a substitute for Raquel Garrido (LFI) in the 5th district of Seine-Saint-Denis (Drancy, Le Bourget, Drancy).

The deputy also reacted on Twitter indicating that “dPressures, threats or violence against an elected representative of the Republic are inadmissible and must be strongly condemned. I had signed a bill N3445 to this effect. Total solidarity with the Mayor and his 1st deputy“.
