Driver drives in corn field, police determine alcohol and drug consumption

During the night from Friday to Saturday, a driver who was overtired caused an accident in Hägendorf.

The ride ended in a corn field.

On Saturday, around 1.45 a.m., a 38-year-old driver drove on Solothurnstrasse in Hägendorf. He went off the road, collided with a tree and finally came to a standstill in a corn field.
On site, the police patrol carried out a breath alcohol and drug test, both of which were positive. In addition, the driver was on the road in an overtired state.
The driver of the car was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. Several patrols from the Solothurn canton police, the rescue service and a towing company were on site. (pd/pin)
