Due to the discovery of a possible explosive, part of the Hildebrandstraat in Den Bosch was closed on Saturday morning. The EOD removed the explosive. It would be a grenade.
“We were woken up by a bang during the night,” local residents said. They immediately alerted the police. When officers arrived, they saw damage in a case on Hildebrandstraat.
Environment secured
A 112 correspondent says that it is a tanning salon. A wooden plank has now been placed in front of the facade. According to our reporter, the explosive was hanging from a rope outside the store.
Due to the seriousness of the situation, the police decided to immediately secure the area. Eight surrounding buildings were evacuated and a radius of fifty meters was cordoned off.
