event Princess Java Suriname 2022 is being held. The beauty contest, which was participated by women from the country of Suriname, of Javanese descent, also went viral on social media. In the photo showing the Top 15 contestants who were selected to take part in the final round, the names and appearances of the participants are in the spotlight.

The photos show the names and photos of the contestants. It was revealed that most of the women still had a typical Javanese face. The last names of a number of finalists are also in the spotlight of netizens because they are familiar to our ears, for example Ngadino, Katidjo, and Wirokarso. Suriname itself is a country in South America where many people from Java have migrated there.

Princess Java Suriname seems to be held for the first time. In one of her uploads on Facebook, she revealed several requirements to become a prospective beauty queen from the event. There are not many demands, those who want to register are expected to be young women with attractive appearance and strong determination aged 17 to 25 years.

In another post, it was stated if participants were allowed to come with colored hair or not during registration which started in May. There are no special rules regarding clothing, they are also asked to show their original identity and wear comfortable clothes.
“Come on beautiful and sweet princesses all, they are participating in this contest. Sweet greetings! Groetjes !,” wrote the event on Facebook.

It didn’t take long, a month later Putri Jawa Suriname had chosen the outstanding contestants who were entitled to advance to the next round. In their uploads, they even held a ‘selametan’ which was thick with Javanese customs.
After being selected the best 15 contestants, Princess Java Suriname will hold the final night on July 30. In the uploaded photos, the finalists have made various preparations to appear prime in the election round.
