Movie fan? Don’t miss the International Forum at the Cineteca

For the movie buffs at heart, The 41st edition of the International Film Forum arrives at the Cineteca Nacionalwhich will take place from July 14 to 31.

This year’s selection is made up of 14 films of filmmakers like Kiro Russo, Anocha Suwichakornpong, Maria Alvarez and Michelangelo Frammartino, from countries like Italy, Uruguay, France, Bolivia, Paraguay, Germany and Thailand.

The feature films participating in this year’s edition have earned prestige in various international spaces and competitions such as the Berlinale, the San Sebastian International Film Festival or the Venice Film Festival.

The film commissioned to open the 41st International Forum is the buffalo man (Mexico, 2020) by David Torres Labansat, which takes up the difficult journalistic job in the contemporary national scene, in addition to land dispossession.

Also, from July 21 to August 10 the programming will have a tour of Mexico City and Metropolitan Area in the Cinépolis complexes (Diana, Plaza Carso and Samara), Cinemex (Reforma, Duraznos, Altavista and Insurgentes), in UNAM headquarters (Julio Bracho Room of the CCU and Cinematograph of Chopo) and IFAL.

The prices in Cineteca Nacional are the usual ones$60 general admission, and Forum tickets are now available directly at the box office, on the venue’s official app or on the website.
