Singer Marta’s (best known for the song “Drāma”) new and energetic song “Terapija” has been released, announced as the second single from the singer’s upcoming studio album.
The author of the music and text of the song “Therapy” is Marta Grigale herself, the voice
recording, as well as single production, mixing and mastering works
by JJ Lush, while the text video was made by Rinalda Feldmane.
The new single is kept in the typical spirit of Marta – light, positive, danceable and bright, but the topic touched on in it is played with a small dose of irony.
“The idea of the song came as a joke, discussing some exes with my girlfriend
relationship. “Are you talking about me in therapy?” is quite an ironic question, what
ask a person with whom you have a romantic past.
In this song, sweet memories of the past meet a completely different present,
in which this question arose,” says Marta. “This song is light, catchy and
positively charged. In “Therapy”, sweet memories of the past meet with
an ironic view of the present in which former relationships are left over
only what has been experienced in the past, and yet you want to know – what this present is like
to the other?”.
