PROFILE Shinzo Abe, Former Japanese PM Shot during Speech, Also Known as Abenomics

TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Profile of Shinzo Abe, the former Prime Minister of Japan who was shot while giving a speech in the western city of Nara, Friday (8/7/2022).

Abe fainted shortly after gunshots rang out, NHK reported.

Reported Reutersa man was detained at the scene.

Kyodo News said Abe was unconscious and could be in cardiac arrest.
