David Carmo left SC Braga for FC Porto for €20 million, plus €2.5 million for goals. These bonuses will be paid each time the player is champion, at a rate of €500,000 per title. If he is a five-time champion, the dragons will pay €2.5 million to SC Braga over the center’s five-season contract.
The issue has caused controversy and the same has already happened in England when it was reported that Aston Villa would be entitled to a bonus for the transfer of Jack Grealish to Man. City in case the ‘citizens’ are champions, ending up with the coincidence that the title game was between the two teams, with City ending up winning 3-2 at the Etihad after having been trailing by 0- two.
