What is Restaurant Week in New York City?
Restaurant Week is the highly anticipated foodie celebration emulated throughout New York City. The prix fixe program invites diners to sample the incredible variety of restaurants that make up the city’s culinary culture.
It began in 1992 as a unique culinary event to welcome the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
When it starts?
Now the event returns for 30 days to celebrate its 30th anniversary, from July 18 to August 21. While our website reflects the most accurate information, we recommend verifying a restaurant’s participation information address on their website or by calling the restaurant directly. Saturdays are excluded from the program and Sundays are optional. Be sure to check the hours of operation at the restaurants you plan to visit.
What are the prices?
The 2022 summer schedule features a trio of pricing options ($30, $45, $60), which restaurants can offer during meal periods of their choice (lunch, dinner, or both). This structure allows a greater variety of restaurants across the five boroughs to participate, creating more choices and more reservations available to diners.
