Health Screening and Vaccination Services Used by 245 Visitors to Chinatown Glodok


Kastara.ID, Jakarta – The DKI Jakarta Health Service (Dinkes) has opened a COVID-19 vaccination service and health screening for non-communicable diseases at the Gate of the Chinatown area of ​​Glodok, Taman Sari, West Jakarta.

The service which runs from 08.00-12.00 is utilized by 245 people or visitors.

Head of the Epidemiology and Immunization Surveillance Section of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Ngabila Salama, said that in this service, his party provides Sinovac, Pfizer, and Moderna vaccines.

“Besides vaccination, there are health screenings for ages 15 years and over, health consultations, blood pressure checks, blood sugar and others,” he said (6/7).

Ngabila explained that his party will hold similar services in two different locations, precisely at Manggarai Station, Tebet, South Jakarta on July 7 2022 and Taman Rabbit Bambu Apus Cipayung, East Jakarta on July 8 2022.

Residents can register and choose a vaccination schedule through the JAKI application which can be downloaded via the link qrco.de/appsjaki.

“Residents can also come directly to the location,” said Ngabila.

He said this service aims to provide easy access to health services for residents and expand vaccination coverage in Jakarta.

The more people who have been vaccinated, the more communal immunity will be created herd immunity while preventing a spike in cases.

“This service is important so that the health and safety of residents can be maintained,” said Ngabila. (hop)
